Coming tomorrow: Interview with Mitchell resident back from Haiti

"There was damage everywhere. It was flattened. There were some pretty horrific smells in some places where there were probably rotting corpses. It was ugly."

That’s a description of Port-Au-Prince from Mitchell resident Bruce Blumer, who was in Haiti on a mission trip when the earthquake struck. He’s back now, and he spoke to The Daily Republic today. His story will be in tomorrow’s print and Web editions.
