Two races, two no contests.
The June 7 City Council election is on. Incumbent Dan Allen faces Tim Moon for the Ward 2 seat while three newcomers will compete to represent Ward 4: Marc Bernard, Deb Skibsrud-Bueber and Greg McCurry.
In Ward 3, the only candidate is newcomer Philip D. Carlson. In Ward 1, former councilman Ken Tracy is back.
Three first-termers, Geri Beck, Scott Houwland and Doug Backlund decided they didn’t want a second. All three chose not to run.
