Daily Republic featured on WhoNeedsNewspapers.org

Months ago, our Publisher Korrie Wenzel received a request from the Who Needs Newspapers? project to feature The Daily Republic on its website, www.whoneedsnewspapers.org. He obliged, and a couple of nice folks came out and interviewed us about our operation and our importance to the community.

Here’s how the project is described on its website:

“Who Needs Newspapers?” (WNN) is a national project designed to create a dynamic database, assembled on a website, which aims to tell the story of leading community newspapers throughout the United States, by highlighting one outstanding community newspaper in each of the 50 states.
